Summary: Good, short exercises in logic and deduction
Comment: This collection of sixteen short, distinct mysteries is an exercise in logic and deduction. On first reading, it is not apparent that you have been given enough information to solve the puzzle. However, once you read it again very carefully, it is possible to find the clues that point you to the perpetrator(s). Sometimes it is a single phrase and other times you need to string together several statements in order to extract the relevant data. Complete solutions to all stories are included, so you are not totally on your own. However, it is much more fun to read the story at least three times before you go to the answer. I enjoyed each of these puzzles, some were easy to solve, but others had me really scratching my head.
