Summary: Hard to put down
Comment: I had no expectations when I started reading this book, but I was quickly hooked and had trouble putting it down. I felt as though I finally understood some of the things that my ancestors went through when they trekked west after the Civil War. The main character had plenty of interesting experiences and little details were well described, making the book seem real. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I'm buying two copies for myself and a friend.
