Summary: Still my favorite!
Comment: I was really distressed when this went out of print several years ago--and am very happy that it is back in press. The updates for the intervening years appear to be right on target! The reviewer from 1998 was either reviewing the wrong book, or the 1994 editition!
Rating: 5
Summary: Great read for managers and students of org behavior
Comment: This book is a great read for anyone interested in learning more about organizational behavior. The research in action boxes provide real life examples of how research is applied in real work settings and is written by top researchers in the field of org behavior. The topics include leadership, perceptions, inclusion, motivation, organizational learning and many more. I highly recommend this for anyone attempting to manage in today's complex and uncertain environment. The book covers issues related to technology and international concerns as well. A great textbook or handbook for managers.
Rating: 2
Summary: Poorly written with boring nonsence.
Comment: This book could have been reduced to 150 pages if the authors removed all the nonsence. It takes the focus off the really important issues the book displays. Some parts are very well written, but they are too far apart. As a norwegian, I found the book easy to read and easy to understand.
