Summary: A good synopsis of the history of Christian education
Comment: Reed and Prevost offer a concise, easy-to-read summary of the Christian education. The chronology stems from ancient education to modern Christian education. The book addresses the cultural and philosophical issues that impacted Christian educators throughout history. Furthermore, Reed and Prevost also address non-Christian educators that impacted Christian education. I found that the book offered enough information to cover the subject adequately, but remained brief enough to be useful to the majority of people. This book is useful to those involved in Christian education as a tool and reflective piece.
