Summary: Not an exciting book...
Comment: This book is not for you if you are new to collecting rocks and fossils. Just does not get a person excited about collecting. Tho it does have a lot of information, it is much too technical for me. There is a lot of history and background given when I would have prefered exact locations and colored pictures. More of a scientific educational book instead of a 'this is what it looks like, go look here and find it' book.
