Summary: bad flow, lack of chronology, good summary about our history
Comment: Cassedy divides his book into four chapters based on time periods and clearly identifies his themes in the preface. Within each chapter, the author jumps around, so there is a lack of flow. He fails to state the facts in chronological order. However, not many books exist which give the complete, summarized history of American medical history.
