Comment: Over the past three years, I have accumulated a small library of books on menopause, looking for answers to my many questions. This is the best of my collection. It's well researched, well written, and well indexed. Technical information is presented very clearly. The notes contain full bibliographical information for those who want to read the journals. All approaches to menopause - life style, dietary, herbal, botanical, HRT - are considered in detail, but no particular program is pushed. The authors' respect for their readers is evident throughout the book. It's a pleasure to recommend it to anyone needing information on this phase of life.
