Comment: This book is an up to date book providing a general overview of bird care and training. This book is good for the beginner who is considering a bird or has just acquired their first bird. It is reasonably priced and packed with lots of information. You'll need to move on to more specialized books about bird care and training after reading this, but this book is an excellent start!

Comment: This is a great book. It has easy to read and understand information on the most popular pet birds. There are 19 species covered individually. It gives step by step advice on how to set up and mantain a happy home for you and your bird. It also contains color photographs on almost every page.
