Summary: The Wonderful World of Worker Bees
Comment: This author came to my kids' school and shared this book with us (I am a mom and came to the assembly). It is a great book, and my kids all love it (ages 6-12). I learned so much about Honeybees from the text and the illustrations are so unique. This is not your typical boring non-fiction book. It is written in a lively manner and the illustrations are bright and beautiful. The reason I'm writing is that even though I ordered the book through school for my kids, I am ordering more to give as presents (...) I highly recommend this book -- .

Summary: The Best Book about Bees for Children
Comment: I am a beekeeper and I have been looking for a book about bees for children for years. This one is not only beautiful (what gorgeous, fun art!), it is also scientifically accurate, easy to understand--and really fun to read. There is humor in this book, too. The author and illustrator really knew what they were doing. Publisher, too. Those honeycombed endpapers are ingenius. Plus I see that they used a reknown beekeeper and author as their expert, and that was brilliant. Kudos to National Geographic and the author/illustrator team.
