Comment: If you're in the Affiliate business, or want to be, you must read this book. Can you become a priest without reading the Bible? Probably not. So why do you think you can be a successful Affiliate Marketer without reading THE book on the subject?
Since I'm in the Affiliate Marketing Industry, I carry this book around with me everywhere I go with my laptop and business cards, just in case I need a reference or idea. Albiet a bit outdated by now, it is still the definitive piece of material on the matter.

Summary: The ultimate guidebook for affiliate managers
Comment: I've read and re-read this book, and I can't get over how useful it has been for me. It's not like a typical marketing book that is written in a high-brow "I'm smarter than you" kind of style. Rather it's conversational and easy to understand.

Summary: Extremely useful for anyone launching an affiliate program
Comment: This book certainly helped me organize my thinking while putting together an affiliate program. Although it seems aimed at larger organizations (the authors envision an entire department running the affiliate program), smaller merchants will find a lot of solid advice. The only negative comment I have is that the book shows signs of hasty writing and editing. But if you need the information, you'll be able to forgive that fault.
