Comment: Excellent book as a resource for teachers. It contains very practical ideas for immediate use in the real classroom. Thebook was used in an ESL Endorsement class for teachers in the district and they could harldy wait to get to their classrooms and try the suggested strategies.Teachers tend to precieve that too many of the endorsement classes only present theories and they were glad to have a hands-on book with positive ideas. The book deals with Indian culture, a subject often overlooked, and deals with learning styles and a variety of methods to deal with the academic areas. The chapters are well organized, reader friendly and contain a varity of ideas. It also helps that the author has practical experience and is knowledgeable about his subject.
