Comment: WOW!!! This book has changed the lives of a lot of women in our church. It truly gives God's perspective on the type of wife, woman, & mother we should be. It gives GREAT biblical & practical application to the struggles we face in all areas of our lives. During this study, I became to know God in a whole different way. It addresses seeing & treating our husbands as a gift from God. It helps with organization, submission, purpose, sex, and how to be consistent with what you learn. It teaches you how to love your husband & accept his love for you. Also, it focuses on your relationship with God regardless of your spouses response. If you apply these Godly principles & go into the word of God with her, you will become a totally different person through the grace of God.
This study taught me how to allow God to love my husband through me & it is Way better than the "spark" you have when you are dating. If you open your heart to God, he will change your life through this study.
Also, the review that stated she became a door mat as a result of this book. My heart goes out to her. The author address that on page 145. It by no means insinuated that you should allow physical, verbal, or emotional abuse.

Summary: Can You Give Minus Stars? Call Her Creative Co-Dependent!
Comment: I read this book years ago and tried to live it in my former marriage. I became nothing more than my husband's sweet little doormat. While I tried to practice what she preaches, he slapped me around, he drank himself senseless and he molested my daughter. Some marriages are not worth saving. And the Holy Spirit most certainly never intervened.
The damage done to my child, who is now a woman herself and who was so terribly spiritually damaged by my following this GARBAGE, still enrages me when I think of the name Linda Dillow. Because of this idiotic drivel that passes for "godly counsel", my daughter now struggles to have some kind of relationship with God due to the abuse she both witnessed and experienced in my former marriage. Thank God I finally trashed the book and got out of the marriage. Thank Jehovah that my daughter is more of a feminist than I chose to be. Hopefully one day, despite her experiences with my ex, she will come to know that the Father/Husband heart of God is not like what she experienced. Hopefully she'll listen to Him directly and trash books by people like Ms. Dillow who only claim to know Him.
Is anyone aware that one of the "perfect" wives who taught this to other women was murdered by her husband who was out having kinky sex with other women? Does everyone swallow this twisted version of Biblical femininity without ever questioning?
I stayed single for 10 years after that marriage ended because I swore I would never allow anyone to treat me like that again. Thankfully now, I have a wonderful husband but he respects me too much to want me to be the saccharine type wife described in this book. Our relationship is Adult to Adult, not patronizing pompous husband to simpering doormat wife.
If you want a book that is good to use as kindling, this would be the one!!!

Summary: A must-read/do for every Christian wife!
Comment: Linda Dillow's book should be required reading of every Christian wife ! Especially helpful for those with children, Dillow addresses submission, priorities, and putting the ZIP back into your love life, amoung other topics. Very easy read, thought-provoking, encouraging, motivating. It's like having a mentor over for tea. I've read many Christian -authored books on marriage; this is THE practical and Bible-centered "how-to" guide for a wife. If I had nothing else on my shelves except Creative Counterpart and my Bible - my library would be complete! This book has changed my marriage, and deepened my Walk immeasureably. Buy it NOW and start pouring over each chapter. Bravo, and thank you to Mrs. Dillow!!!
