Summary: THE Dictionary to have
Comment: I have just recieved my second copy of this indispensible dictionary on Tagalog. Why? Because the first copy is falling apart from so much usage. This dictionary will be well used and valued by anyone who purchases it. This is the finest Tagalog dictionary out there. This one is the most comprehensive that I have found anywhere. I have looked both here in the U.S. and in the Philippines and have not found another dictionary equal to or better than this one. Even my friends in the Philippines were amazed and impressed with this dictionary. This one has been a great source and a valuable resource. You should buy this Tagalog-English/English-Tagalog Standard Dictionary by Carl R. Galvez Rubino because you will not need another Tagalog dictionary nor find a better one.

Summary: EXCELLENT DICTIONARY!
Comment: I bought this book when I started to date my Filipino boyfriend so that I could learn some of his language. It is excellent! If there was ever a word one of us couldn't translate, we whipped out this book and it was in there 99 percent of the time. I have three other Tagalog dictionaries as well as language tapes and this one is by far the best. The definitions are easy to understand and there are even slang words included. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a Tagalog dictionary. I even bought a second copy for a friend.

Summary: The best in my collection!
Comment: I have six different books and three software programs on Tagalog. This is by far the best and most complete dictionary I have ever seen. It even has Slang Tagalog words, which is even hard to find on the internet. Even my Filipino friends say this is the best and most accurate English/Tagalog dictionary they have ever seen. The grammar lesson and vowel sounds is very well written, plus there's a nice section in the back that gives you some Tagalog songs & Proverbs (sayings). You will not find another dictionary with over 20,000 entries.
