Summary: Think of the consequences, you Boeotians!
Comment: I perfectly agree with the reader who suggested not to practice anything in this book!By God! Every black spell or incantation will turn back on you 3 times as big! Do you wish for a malediction? We all know that black art has direct connection with the Satanic cult!If it concerns your general knowledge and sophistication - it is ok but since this is for practical purposes - it should be under strict prohibitions.
However, do what you wish, but if one day you find your relative dead - blame yourself! The die is cast!

Summary: Good, left a bit to be desired
Comment: I found this book to be very interesting and informative, a good read for both students of the occult or anyone interesting in reading about the darker side of magic.
I did find that it left a bit to be desired in the way that there are gaps in some of the text, gaps which would have contained important information. Aside from that a good read, better if one has companion texts that are mentioned in the book.

Summary: Decent, but a bit decieving
Comment: If you've already got "The Book of Ceremonial Magick," then you don't need this. This book includes the second half of the aforementioned volume, and nothing more. Also, the writing style is a bit strange, very archaic, and includes mostly essays about Magick and different types of spiritual practices. Not exactly useful for anyone getting into Magick for the first time, but it does include information on the darker side, and probably what to avoid doing if you don't want to get bad karma.
