Summary: Anyone who writes by computer, needs ready access to it.
Comment: I have had the initial release of this CD-ROM, and have put it to extensive use. Start it, and your word processor, and you can Alt-Tab back and forth. It has the most extensive coverage of word compounds of any other dictionary-including Webster's Third New International, and The American Heritage Dictionary. I am careless with my CD's, and am now ordering another because of the many scratches on the first.

Summary: Won't integrate with MS Word 97
Comment: A good dictionary, but I was stunned to learn that it will intergrate with older versions of MS Word, but will not integrate with Word 97. Given that Word 97 has been out for several years, it seems that Random House is really behind the times.
