Summary: Can I Live There too....
Comment: I bought a copy of this absolutely delightful book for my 6-year old son not having seen or heard of it before but because it was a Mr. Christie award winner and that was good enough for me. I thought an advent book would be yet another lovely way to celebrate the coming of Christmas. This book charmed and captivated me from the start. The story suceeded in every way to earn and hold my interest ( I found myself reading the entire book at 1 a.m. not wanting to put it down) and the ending, while comforting and endearing, has its own twist of intrigue which elevates the story beyond the merely Christmas and sentimental. I can't wait for December 1 to start reading it to my son! I enjoyed this book so much that I wanted to bring it into my extended family as a new Christmas reading tradition, so I overspent my budget and bought a copy for my two nephews which I plan to give them as an early Christmas present. Now where to find Imelda George so that I can buy one of her wooden Santas. She is an amazing artist and I want one of her Santas! She literally carves the depth and glow into the story - each Santa is a visual delight and collectively - well you have to just see for yourself!
