Comment: After reading this, I did come away with a little more knowledge about Queen Elizabeth's life, but the best part of this book are the photographs. It was a nice surprise to see how attractive Queen Elizabeth was as a child and young woman. I had the impression that taking on the crown of England turned a pretty 25 year old woman into a matron much older than her years. I think that the pictures speak for themselves in how well they reveal the character and strength of the Queen. This is an enjoyable book, even if you're not an Anglophile.
