Summary: Get lost in the wilderness of its premise
Comment: For the sex and passion junkie, Janelle Denison's single title Wilde Thing zaps like an addictive aphrodisiac with smoldering chemistry and relentless seductions. Liz Adams, operator of The Daily Grind cafe, enlists the services of gorgeous PI Steve Wilde to hunt for her reckless cousin Valerie Clark after she vanishes with a new boyfriend named Rob. To ferret out more information, Liz braves a stint to Valerie's workplace - a phone sex company called The Ultimate Fantasy.
Ms. Denison's latest effort is an indulgent fantasy that explores intimacy and sexual fantasy but manages to commit to sculpting matured characters like Liz and Steve. Their wild escapades from phone sex to caramel-feasting proves insatiable and unsettling; the emotional side of the characters are equally turbulent. Liz suffers from a disappointing marriage that had her working to pay debts off; Steve is determined not to repeat the failure of his first marriage. Liz and Steve agrees initially to have a no-strings attached affair but they fall for each other.
The mystery aside, Wilde Things has a chockful of vibrant characters like Cameron, Mia, Adrian, Eric and Jill in the read, but Ms. Denison never loses focus to deliver a provocative romance of energetic sex and smoldering temptations. This is erotic romance at its hottest. She teases, tantalizes and snags your attention to this gratifying read - hook, line and sinker. Get lost in the wilderness of its premise.

Summary: This book screams Wilde!
Comment: Ms. Denison should be known for her sensually graphic love scenes. Make no mistake about it this one is a scorcher! Steve Wilde, the eldest Wilde brother, is the gorgeous PI who helps Liz Adams find her "missing" cousin. From the very beginning, they become heavily involved in a hot and steamy love affair, which includes sessions of phone sex and indulgences for forbidden, erotic fantasies. Even though the sex is incredible, I didn't find a meaningful story here -- nothing powerful in the sense of self-seeking, spiritual enlightenment. However, if you're looking for lots of wild, erotic and forbidden pleasures, then this is the book for you.

Summary: The Wilde Boys: Quality Erotic Thrillers
Comment: This is one of the several "Wilde" series that Janelle Denison has written. She is a leading name in erotica and thriller. At first glance and perhaps even at face value, this book is easily dubbed women's erotic fiction but I find that it's highly engaging and exciting and material anyone of any sex, male of female, can enjoy. The character of Steve Wilde comes off as the archetypical bachelor and playboy. It's very likely that Steve, as well as some of the other "Wilde" men that Janelle Denison creates are based on some real men. I have known some bad boys to be like this. As is expected, the plot revolves around the passionate and physical relationship between Steve and Liz Addams which escalates into full-blown romatic love. But there's more.
Liz Addams, a coffee waitress at a cafe, decides she needs the assitance of Private Eye detective Steve Wilde in order to discover what really happened to her sister who disappeared in a party thrown by the phone sex company she worked for. True, the book has tons of sex scenes- including domination and submission and phone sex, many of them very steamy and hot. It can be said that the meat of the book is the sex scenes between Liz and Steve. But there is a plot here, make no mistake about that. Liz and Steve work together in finding Liz' lost sister, operating under cover as phone sex operator and client and even attending the type of Playboy Mansion party where Liz' sister vanished in. Liz and Steve are like a law-abiding Bonnie and Clyde and make a great team together. It makes for a great read in the summer, or if you have had you're heart broken by "a bad boy" and want to delve into the imagination of Janelle Denison, who truly knows what women want.
The core of these books are at heart that bad boys can be tamed by a good woman. Excellent job. Be sure to get the next installment in the Wilde series, "The Wilde Side" which seems to be even more erotic than this one. Kudos to Janelle Denison.
