Summary: A disappointing Mish Mash
Comment: Although I consider Serious Sam to be an all-time standout game, the Strategy Guide is a flop. The popup hints and strategy from the software are better than this book. First it offers "Every Secret Revealed" which is usually nothing more than secret nooks with treasure of other reward. There are no worthwhile strategies for getting past difficult areas.

Secondly, and most importantly, it does not follow the flow of game play and I was rarely able to locate the page that correlates to where I was. It is difficult to locate the buildings and scenes to match the game. This was a great disappointment to me.

Finally, the text and photos in this 128 page comic book are printed on black background, making it harder yet to read or interpret the 1-1/2 inch photos.

However, if you have already conquered the game and just want to be annoyed while you get eye strain, put it in your shopping cart and procede to checkout.
