Comment: If you have not enough time to study for the GRE writing test but want to get high scores, then this is the right book for you!! I'm from a non english country but I still manage to get high scores for my GRE test after I study this book. Excellent book!!!

Comment: I was lucky to find this book to improve upon my skills for GRE's analytical writing section (introduced as of october 2002). The author describes effective writing techniques by recommending a set of rules & showing instances of each of them in action. The examples provided would be most useful to a reader because it shows what to avoid & how to rewrite sentences more effectively.
