Summary: Great Book
Comment: This is a great book.

Caffeine has been slandered for far too long.

Caffeine has many advantages if it is not abused. It is helpful for disease, energy, etc.

What about the latest findings on the news, that coffee (caffeine) is advantageous for diabetics?

Check out this book and learn the truth about caffeine - it is nothing to fear and is a god-send for energy levels. Educate yourself and learn the truth.

Summary: Read "Caffeine Blues" instead
Comment: Advising someone to use caffeine to help depression and other problems is no better than touting the benefits of smoking. Do yourself a favor and read "Caffeine Blues," (also available from Amazon). The author explains the extremely unhealthy cycle caused by caffeine and the 700 known toxins in coffee (even decaf). The author has a great deal of medical knowledge, and backs up all his statements with (40 pages of) case studies and research. Quitting caffeine was the single healthiest thing I've ever done.

Summary: The ultimate self-help Book
Comment: This book is the ultimate self-help title. There are many great chapters--on raising your IQ, losing weight, fighting jet lag, and getting more out of your work outs--each one is worth the price of the whole book. For me, the biggest news was how to use caffeine to fight depression ( no more prozac for me!) and why caffeine pills can sometimes be more beneficial than coffee.
The book is thoroughly referenced and full of surprises. I say get this book and read it over a cup of your favorite java.
