Summary: A Wonderful Book
Comment: I am a new to the world of being a military spouse(and in my first deployement at that)....this book helped me realize that i'm not the only one going through this. This book made me laugh and cry, sometimes all at once. It was well worth every penny i spent on it. Strongly suggest to read this book.

Summary: It's Great
Comment: When I first stumbled across this book, I was overcome with a sense of sadness. I had no idea how to go about reading a book that I thought would be so very sad. However, this book could not have been more of a delight to read. I had tears of pain running silently down my cheeks, and other times where the laughter could not be controlled.

Probably the best thing about this book is that it shares insight into a military wife's life, which is something that not many people understand. It shows how 6 months can seem like an eternity, and a phone call at 4 o'clock in the morning is a godsend.

Summary: Wonderful Read
Comment: I bought this book during my husband's first deployment to keep me company on the nights when I couldn't sleep. It was a wonderful book!! I couldn't seem to put it down. It made me feel so much better reading someone else's experience. SO many things I found myself laughing out loud about because they were so true. Other times I would tear up at because I knew how she felt.
My only issues witht he book were sections where she blaimed him for being gone. That was pretty upsetting to read and took a little away from the book. Overall I think this is a great book for any navy wife to read!
