Summary: enjoyable reading for those who love a good ghost story
Comment: Leslie Rule is a proficient and entertaining writer. Her book, "Coast to Coast Ghosts" is the kind of book you look forward to reading at the end of a busy day, and one that you find difficult to put down. I have read quite a few books written about haunted places; it was refreshing to read some new stories, as well as new angles on some old favorites. Her research is extremely thorough, uncovering information long forgotten or buried. It is obvious that she puts her heart and soul into every story, and I for one appreciate the effort. After reading Leslie Rule's book, I had the pleasure of meeting her in person and was able to spend some time chatting with her over dinner. I found her to be an extraordinarily warm and gracious person and I look forward to reading her next book on this subject. As for Mary Grace from Northport, who recently reviewed this book and called Ms. Rule a numbnutz. What a shock it must have been for you to read a book entitled "Coast to Coast Ghosts" and find that it was filled with stories of people who had claimed to have seen a ghost. Perhaps if "numbnutz" was a word that was actually in the dictionary and we could look it up, we would find a picture of you.

Summary: A Must Read For Ghost Story Lovers
Comment: This is one of the best books I've read about true ghost stories. The writer reaches right in and grabs your attention...making you feel like your right there, experiencing these events right along with the helpless victims sharing their lives with these spirits. Included with the ghostly tales are a listing of haunted colleges and information to "signs that a place is haunted". It was wonderful to read that this writer was not just writing about other peoples experiences, but she includes several of her own personal experiences with ghosts...making me realize that she just didn't interview and write, she was sympathetic to something she understood to be true, something she has personally experienced. I would highly recommend this book to all that are crazy about reading true ghost stories. Fantastic writer! Hope to see more books from Leslie Rule in the future on this subject!!

Summary: Good writer like her mother
Comment: Ann Rule is a good writer. Looks to me like her daughter is following in her footsteps. My wife bought this one for me as a gift. We both loved it. It is so interesting.
