Comment: It was a tremendous relief to discover this extensive, thorough,and exquisitely articulate text that offers solutions to the conspicuous absence of effective communication in one of the most crucial relationsips in the medical community: that between the pathologist and the surgeon. I found it well written, well organized, and immediately applicable to my work as chief of general surgery. It has proven particularly useful in the instruction of my residents.
