Summary: Sadako
Comment: This book moved me because it is sad. The book is about a girl in the atom bombing in Hiroshima. Even though she has leukemia and is ill, her friends are loyal to her. One friend, Chizuko, gave Sadako a good luck charm, a crane. Her brother gave a promise to hang the thousand cranes. Will she make a thousand cranes? You have to read it to find out! Most of the story takes place in the Red Cross Hospital.

This story is so sad, that when I read it my eyes were filled with tears. If you go to Hiroshima there might be a lot of reminders of her. So I recommend you to get this book.
