Summary: Ideas yes, instruction manual no
Comment: We are about to embark on the remodeling of the basement of our first home. My husband picked up this book thinking it would give us some great ideas, and cause he loved all the photos. It does have great ideas, and made us think out of the box a bit on our basement plans. But, it lacks step-by-step instructions for the work to be done. Good book to help you visualize what you want to do, but don't expect it to tell you how to get the work done.
