Summary: Mrs.Frisby and the Rats of M=NIMH
Comment: I did not like the book . Also it wasn't well written . It needs to have action.
In the book their is a mouse named Mrs.Frisby. She has four children . Timothy , one of her children , falls deathly sick . Moving day is coming early this year and Timothy cannot go out in the cold . She meets a young crow named Jeremy who brings her to the old owl in the woods . The old owl told her that nothing could be done . But when Jeremy says " Come on Mrs.Frisby , I'm sorry that nothing will work . " Then the owl says you're Jonathan Frisby's widow ? Then he told her about the Rats of NIMH . The rats help her move her house and she helps them get away from NIMH .
I would rate this book in a 1-5 scale , I would give it a 2 . When I read it , it bored me . Their was only like one interesting if that .

Summary: Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh
Comment: How would you like to be a rat living on a farm during harvest time, and on top of that you have a sick child. In the fictional adventure by Robert C. O'briens Newberry award winning novel, Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh. In this book Mrs. Frisby goes to desperate measures to get help and to move her house so it won't get hit by the trackter. If you like adventure and survival, you should read this book.

This book is full of adventure and witty humor. it is a fictional novel that is mostly about survival as Mrs. Frisby, a widowed mother, tries to find a way to move her house without having to make her son Timothy, who is very sick, come out of the house into the cold. So she goes out looking for help and finds it in a group of super-smart mice that escaped from a laboratory named the Rats of Nimh. This pack of lab rats devise a plan to move Mrs. Frisby's house.

This novel is for young adults from the age of 9 to 15 years. This is because the story talks about death, some humor kids might not understand. There is also one point of violence where the farmers cat, Dragon, attacks the rats. Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh, has some parts where teens will like, in some of the witty plans the rats come up with to move the Frisby household.

This book is written in third person. It has Mrs. Frisby whos husband died and was left to take care of her children. Summary: An Interesting Adventure (written by sixth grader)
Comment: Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH is a great book. It is interesting, adventurous, and fits my age group. I was assigned this book as a Novel Study project and therefore thought that it would be boring. As I read on I found out that I was very wrong. This book had a lot of adventure, and was very interesting. But this book also has a lot of descriptive detail and sometimes became boring. I do like a bit of detail because it helps me understand the book more. Some people do like a lot of detail, but that is not my style. Therefore I gave the book 4 stars. Though I like animals, this is not why I liked this book, because I am terrified of rats and mice, though some people call them cute. I liked this book because the author used a device call personification on the characters (the animals) which made it interesting because they now posessed human qualities. I like this device because it means the we can relate to the characters though they are animals. I recommend this book to everyone. Try the book out. It may be boring at first but keep reading, it has a lot of adventure. It turns about to be very exciting.
