Summary: Best Book Ever
Comment: I was looking in the library when I found this book. Curious, I checked it out, and since last Saturday, I've read it numerous times. This story is wonderfully crafted, and I'd love it if it was reprinted. Like the Narnia series, a asmall boy reads a book in his own lbrary and is transported to a fantastic world with remarkable inhabitants, such as the unforgettable Unicorn, the uppish Cockatrice, the wise Manticore, and other loveable creatures. I highly recommend this marvelous story to the child in everyone.

Summary: A wonderful story
Comment: I read this one in junior high, which dates me as a geezer. I've never seen it since, but I've never forgotten the wonder of the boy waking with a lock of the winged horse's mane in his hand; it did happen, after all! There are other worlds of magic, if we could just reach them. I'd love to see this book again.
