Summary: The must have book to achieve realism with silks
Comment: This is without a doubt the best book I've found on silk florals. True, it doesn't give you step by step instructions on which flowers to put together, but there are many books on the market that do that. Instead, this book will show you something none of the others will- how to take your arrangement from ordinary and artificial looking to something that appears alive and dynamic. The photos are beautiful and offer the reader a lot of ideas on manipulating the stems and blossoms to achieve a more life like effect. I refer to this book more than any other when working on an arrangement and highly recommend it.

Summary: Are you serious about silk flower arranging?
Comment: I have many books on silk flower arranging and this is the most exquisite I've ever seen. Robba can manipulate the flowers to appear absolutely real. His arrangements are elegant, and the text is inspiring. If you already know the basics, this book will spark your creativity. It takes arranging silks to the ultimate artistic level. I enjoy it and recommend it.

Summary: Somewhat lacking in specific guidelines.
Comment: I was disappointed with this book's lack of specifics. I was looking for insight into which flowers should be paired together in arrangements, with specific suggestions. This book simply did not provide enough for a beginner to know how to choose the right combinations. The pictures were not what I was looking for since I want to do an impressive arrangement for a dining room, and the book showed mainly smaller basic arrangements. It's focus was more on exploring your own creativity; I ended up returning it.
