Summary: Clinical Hypertension
Comment: This book is comprehensive in scope to the treatment and management of hypertension...this is not an easy read for those who need to read this.
If you suffer from high blood pressure you need to get involved with a health care professional to understand this book...also a basic understanding of physiology. Treatment and management are foremost, but there is comprehesive understanding about the causes of this disease state.
Rationale and goals, nondrug therapy and later drug therapy all play an important role in the treatment...all the time underline the role of the primary care physician.
A good book for understanding the etiology of hypertension distilled from volumes of published literature. Pathophysiology is a plus to permit good sound clinical judgement.
This is a single authored work, but it does involve references to subsequent work of others. A good book for Physicians, Pharmacists and primary care nurses... only those afflicted with hypertension or those involved in the treatment and management need to read this...
Informative and insightful are the words that best fit this book.
