Summary: Got me through third and fourth year.
Comment: I was asked by the author to try out this book just before it was published. It got me through my third and fourth years of Johns Hopkins medical school. Would like to see a revision for future students. Many useful figures and tables and enough info for attending rounds presentations for most common subjects.

Summary: The "Cliff Notes" for med school and residency
Comment: This guide has a complete description of so many different clinical situations. Instead of rote tables listing symptoms and diagnoses, each section goes into the pathophysiology of each abnormality discussed. The lab value section has a complete description of why each test may be abnormal and the "company" each abnormality will keep. Better EKG section than Dubin or Marriot!!
