Comment: This tall tale is about how Paul Bunyan worked in the United States. He was a big man and his ox was huge. He was a lumberjack who was very strong, yet kind and gentle. He made a river called the Mississippi and cleared the west. Paul and Babe are a great legend in America.

I thought this book was alright. It was a great version of this American legend. The illustrations weren't very vibrant, more dull. Don't let my opinion turn you away, read this book for yourself and see if you like it.
