Summary: Musings I left out but want to add to my original review.
Comment: I don't know if I can "add-on" to my original review titled "A Powerful NDE Account, but Appreciated with Skepticism", but here is what else I meant to say. Given my natural skepticism, my intuition tells me that Angie Fenimore's NDE is genuine. I feel that it is genuine because, if she were making this up, I believe that she would have concocted a totally different NDE scenario. Now whether or not she was actually on the threshold of death is something that I cannot answer, but somebody does not necessarily have to be near death in order to have a profound experience with God. It doesn't matter what served as the "gateway" to her experience, for it shows that we all are subject to God's spiritual laws, that we have the choice to choose between light and darkness. Yet more importantly, even for those souls suffering in the depths of hell, God has not abandoned any single one of them, and they can turn from the darkness to God's loving Light when they are ready, for Jesus already paid the penalty for all people's sins, for all times.

Finally, regarding my doubts about the pre-existence of the soul before birth, it is quite possible that some part of us existed prior to our existence in this world. We may very well have had a pre-existence before birth, having lived as spiritual children with God, but I believe that we are not privy to these details in the earth realm, for our energies should be focused on making a better world and spreading God's love in the here and now.

Summary: Good book
Comment: I have read this book and I believe it. Anyone else that has posted about suicides going to hell I don't care for your comments, even if they were in the best interest of readers. I don't know where every single suicide goes, and I don't really want firsthand experience. I don't NEED to know. What I DO know is that God cares for every individual on this earth. I know that this woman died. I know that this woman saw what she wrote in this book. I know that she saw God the Father and Jesus the Christ, and that they gave her a second chance in life.
I know that the lessons the author teaches in this book are true. I'm glad I bought this book and it has been a blessing for me.
Again, I don't know where suicides go, but I know God loves me. He's asked for me to pick up my cross and follow him and thats just what I'm going to do.

Summary: Sad but untrue
Comment: Although BTD is a fairly quick and interesting read, I remain unconvinced that the author has actually "crossed over" to the other side. Although she may believe the experience happened, her account varyies too much from the bible to be true. Several things stuck out for me: Pre-existent spirit babies, God the Father as a physical being (apparently in really good shape, too), and especially this sentence: "God the Father told me that He Himself had had a mortal existence on a world like ours and had progressed along a path by choosing good over evil." Hmmm. Compare this to John 1:1, John 1:18, Numbers 23:19, and then to 2 Cor 11:14.
I would guess that Ms. Fenimore has had an intense hallucination (seriously, though, she did take a lot of pills), and it would not be a stretch to think that she has been mislead by something or someone appearing as "an angel of light."
