Summary: Bark!
Comment: My 23 month old son Zachary ADORES this book! He loves to hear the different kinds of barks, & he thinks it is funny to listen to mommy bark like a doggy. If you don't mind getting a little silly when you read, then this book is definitely for you!

Summary: Doggone Dissappointed
Comment: Usually I LOVE Sandra Boynton's books (as does my son, age 12 months) but I found this one to be quite annoying to read. The illustrations are great, but I hate barking for 10 pages. My son loses interest too. Perhaps he'll like it better when he gets a little older and can "bark" along with me. I know, I know ... and by then maybe I'll lighten up a little!

Summary: A MUST FOR DOGGIE LOVERS
Comment: This is a great book for all ages. Great for identifying dogs and the sounds they make as well as for learning how to count. The illustrations are really cute and the different dog sounds are great variety plus it's short enough to keep any child's attention.
