Summary: Mouse Work Works!
Comment: This was far and away my favorite book from childhood and luckily my mother saved my copy (along with most of my other childhood favorites)!

The illustrations are simple yet engaging. The verse is catchy and even though I hadn't seen the book in well over 15 years, when I opened the pages, I immediately remembered the entire book word for word. My favorite verse was always:

"Mousie Mousie iron clothes, be careful not to burn your nose" (accompanied by a picture of a mouse ironing clothes dangerously close to his nose!)

Robert Kraus' cute little tale about mice at work (there is a mouse construction worker, a mouse roller skate instructor, a pizza deliverymouse, etc.) is one that I will always hold dear to my heart.

Comment: This is one of my favorite books from my childhood. I loved the pictures and the rhymes about mice at work. It is a fun story to read and to have read to you as well. Great book for young kids who are just learning how to read!
