Packed with horror and intrigue, the reader is caught up in Jenna's life, her heartbeat and the reader's matching in rhythm at each suspenseful turn.
The BODY of EVIDENCE series by Christopher Golden is a must-read. Body Bags first, then Thief of Hearts, and then the future BoE books in the works. You can't go wrong with Christopher's works, and "Body Bags" is an excellent example of that. Read. This. Book. Now.
Then read "Thief of Hearts", etc.

Summary: not enough clues to follow
Comment: if u r looking for a book that you can play detective while reading, i don't think this is the book u r looking for. you'll never be able to figure out who was behind it all. it had a great mix of book styles. it contained scince fiction, but yet you could still believe it happening in real life. it wasn't completely off the wall. it also contained that intriguing political corruption element that i luv. all this and they still put in romance, but don't get your hopes up...... the dialogues though was weak. when Jenna and her mother or father chatted, the convo didn't seem real life. the most exciting parts r in the autopsy room. you'll be amazed at the detail in there that churns your stomach. once, the mystery starts unfolding, i swear, u can't put it down. it just continues to lead u on and on and on. u will honestly not be able to blink when u read the two chase scenes either. buy it and read. you'll enjoy.

Summary: Great Thrill! By: Monica
Comment: Body Bags, by Christopher Golden was an excellent stroy, filled with adventure, and much suspense. I listened to the audio version of the stroy and the narrator sounded just like an adolescent. The stroy starts off with 18 year old jenna Blake, leaving for college. Her parents are divorced and the college she chose; Somerset University , is where her father is a professor. Jenna goes to college stil undecided about her major. She wants to do something involving medicne, but can't stand the idea of killing someone by accident. Her father suggests that she be a medical examiner. A medical examnier is the person that performs autopsy on the dead to figure out there cause of death. She takes an intership as a meidcal examiner's assistant to the chief ME in the town. Her father helped her recieve the job. The first autopy she helps perform is very gruesome. The team finds maggots in the young man's brain. Jenna is intrigued by the discovery. She is willing to help solve how the maggots entered the man's brain. Meanwhile she meets regularly with her father to discuss his life, adn Jenna's. She meets her fathers 'housemates'. She meets her dad's friend Jose. Jenna has met hime before and likes him. He states that he is researching a Costa Rican president whom he dislikes and is trying to remove from office. He talked of a recent trip to Costa Rica. then Jenna remembered that the young man she performed the autopsy on had too just returned from Costa Rica. then while at Jose's class ( international relations) he spazzes out killing a student and dying at Jenna's feet. She also performs the autopsy on her late professor. He too, had maggots in his brian. Read or listen to the excellent thriller to find out how it ends.
