Summary: Forever by Jude Deveraux
Comment: First off, I have to say that Jude is my all time favorite author of romance novels! "Forever" is the first novel of her's I've read in a year or so, so it was refreshing to read. I loved it, couldn't put it down. Sure, some of the characters were "unbelievable" but who cares? It's fiction,right?
I only had 2 problems with this book: The ending was abrupt and seemed rushed, or like something was missing (kinda like "High Tide") and there was no sex scene in the whole book. Although, the story didn't really need one, come on! It's a romance novel! It was like a lot of foreplay.....
I would definitely reccommend this book though, I really enjoyed it, it's funny, witty and the typical Montgomery man rescuing a damsel in distress.
And Jude, if you ever read this - Can you please write some more Historical Romance Novels? I like those best, and you're so good at them! Especially the family sagas like the Velvet ones (loved!) Thanx for reading ( :

Summary: It is a fun fun book!
Comment: If you're trapped inside the house due to a rash of thunderstorms, this book would be the best thing to save your mind! It's fast and easy to read and the story is fun to read ~~ if you like magic and spells and a good old-fashioned love story, this book is for you. If you're into serious tomes on life, don't buy this one.
I read this book in two days ~~ without toddlers and a husband, I would have gotten this book read in a day if that. It's just a fun love story.
Darci is desperate for a job out of Putnam, Kentucky. She is also desperate to get out of her uncle's apartment in NYC. So she answered the call to an ad in the paper to be someone's personal assistant. That person is Adam Montgomery, one of the richest families in noveldom's members. He is on the search for answers to his past and for finding out what happened to his parents. Darci is his only help. Together they go on an adventure, and together, they solve the mystery.
It's short and sweet. It's fun and relaxing. It's a great rainy day book or a beach read. Everyone needs one of these books once in awhile ~~ it's just fun!

Summary: A Great Turn From the Same Old Stuff...
Comment: Just when I think that I have read every plot out there, Deveraux charges ahead with something so new and fresh it kept me enthralled until the very last word! She has a definitive style that makes a reader so involved in her stories and this was NOT a disappointment! Yes, the heroine needed a few more yanks in the right direction, but I believe that Derevuax has added so much to her in the space of this book that she has definately became a "real" character and I am very eager to read the following sequels.
I love the Montgomery slant to this book, too. Adam's character was perfect for Darci. He didn't let her use and abuse him- he is definately one man who could be strong enough for Darci throughout the exploration of her gifts.
A very good book that is worth reading!
