Summary: Simply wonderful!
Comment: This delightful book makes me wonder if my mother has ever entered my mind to sort my thoughts. This is the best kind of book--one that everyone from nine to ninety-nine can enjoy. I will be sure to read it many more times, and recommend it to eveyone I know.

Summary: Peter Pan a review by Dylan
Comment: "All children, except one, grow up." Peter Pan is a great book written by Sir James M. Barrie. The protagonist, Peter Pan is a boy that will never grow up and who ends up taking the three Darling children; Wendy, John, and Michael with him to his home in Neverland.
"Second to the right and straight on till morning." That was the direction Peter gave to Wendy, to the star, Neverland. The four of them fly there with Tink's fairy dust through the cold and dark night's sky. Almost in reach of Neverland, Peter's enemy pirates fire the canon, Long Tom, at Wendy, leaving her to plunge to her death.
Peter Pan's archenemy is the antagonist, James Hook. Hook, captain of the pirates of Neverland, has been trying to get revenge on Peter, after he cut off Hooks hand and fed it to giant crocodile. Where Captain's hand was, now hangs a silver needle sharp hook. They will both end up fighting for their lives with help of Peter's Lost Boys, Hook's partner, Smee, and the three Darling children.
Will Wendy fall to her death? Will Peter shake hooks hook or will Captain lose the other one? Read Peter Pan by Sir James M. Barrie to find out.

Summary: Interesting
Comment: This book is not about childhood. Rather, it is about how adults (or, at least, one adult) views childhood. Anyone with children would have to laugh all the way through. The cliches are both hysterical and pathetic at the same time. It really is a book with no discernable plot; rather, it is just a collection of vignettes. I honestly believe if Disney had not made a movie of it, it would still be a rather obscure book in the USA (of course, the same can be said for the Pooh books and Mary Poppins). I am not saying it is not an enjoyable story. It is. But it should only be looked at as a cute, if some what violent, children's book. It has no message and no greater meaning as some seem people to think.
