Summary: Great All Around!
Comment: This is a great book for beginners and intermediates. It offers information on stitches for the beginners. It has beautiful quilts, and opens the mind to lots of other possibilities. Some of the 34 quilts include: Grandmothers Flower Garden, Flying Geese, Tumbling Blocks, and Log Cabin. If you are looking for inspiration, this is a good book. With a little playing, this book would be great for someone who wants to make a sampler.
The book also covers, borders, batting. It even explains hand quilting, machine quilting and tying methods.
If you can only start with ONE quilt book, I would highly recommend this one.
