Comment: Ian McCallum shares with us all what true wilderness is and gives us, and what many of us,even in the "wild places" fail to understand: the uniqueness of the wild,its animals,plants,trees,bushes,grasses,smells,sounds and ultimately the urgency to truly respect it,love it and protect it. One has to be touched,somehow,if you read it aloud. "ECHO" ; "THEY NEVER ASKED" and "TRACKING" touched my heart particularly. We may become a better person by reading it - I know I have.
