Summary: out-dated-idea
Comment: While I think that this book may have had the right idea of "flexibility", my belief is that teachers need cut out the idea of reading groups all together. The book focused on grouping, but children seem to put labels on themselves and each other when you start combining them into groups. I know that it is unrealistic to have no groups however, so this book was helpful in giving me different ideas to put students into combined ability groups, so it isn't always the slow kids with the slow kids, ect. If you want some fun ideas, this book would be helpful.
