Summary: My third grade students enjoy reading this book. It's fun.
Comment: My third grade students enjoy reading Class Clown. Children can relate to Lucas Cott, the main character of the book. He's just a normal, third grade boy, acting in a normal third grade manner...like a clown! Children can do some funny things, but to adults, they don't always seem funny. Lucas's obstreperous behavior gets him into trouble almost daily, until his mom and he decide he's going to "turn over a new leaf." With the help of Cricket Kaufman, Lucas is able to turn over a new leaf, and he and Cricket actually develop a friendship with each other. I recommend this book to anyone. It's even fun to read as an adult!!

Summary: Class Clown
Comment: The title of this book is called "Class Clown". Lucas goes to school and always get in trouble all the time. One day Lucas and Cricket made a little bet that Lucas can't stay quite for one whole day, for one dollar. This is a good book because it is a funny book. I give this book five star rating for writing a good book.

Summary: (...) Trouble
Comment: Students and teacher alike will enjoy this story. Lucas has a knack for getting himself in sticky situations. (Most teachers have had a student like this at one time or another and children will recognize a classmate in Lucas.) Lucas fakes an eye examination, when told to bring in a leaf t school he brings in an entire bag of them, and he manages to gethis head stuck in a chair during an assemby. Lucas means well but... This is a very enjoyable book. It has eight chapters and is a great book for second and third graders.
