Summary: math thinkers that aren't stinkers
Comment: I bought this book as a time filler for my accelerated students, but ended up using many of the puzzles to reinforce basic skills. I love the "Big Fat Hint" option. It gives kids who don't like math a chance to get comfortable with problem solving. Also, I like that there are often several puzzles of one type, progressively harder, for the same reason. I have a few other puzzle books I use, but they're aimed at general readers, not students. I highly recommend this one for teachers.
