Summary: An exciting, adventurous book on the Rats of NIMH
Comment: I think that Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH is an exciting book on a loving mother trying to get help for her family by the Rats of NIMH. She has to get her home (a small cinder block in Mr. Fitzgibbons vegetable patch) out of the garden before the plow comes. I loved this book! It was fun figuring out how they were going to it and I would read it a million times if I had to. I think you should read this book just because you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. Enjoy!

Summary: Exciting story about a mouse trying to save her son's life.
Comment: Mrs Frisby is the mother of four children and trying to save her son who is suffering of Pneumonia. They have to move before the farmer ploughs the garden where they live. She takes her problems to the rats who are super intelligent and live under the rosebush. They solve her problems and she finds out how they know her deceased husband. In return she saves them. To find out what happens read the book for yourself.

Comment: "The Secret of Nimh" is an exciting fantasy that pulls you in. This book is full of twists and turns. Everything is so clear you'll feel like you're really, there- watching everything that happens. As you get farther, and farther into the book you get more and more attached.
Mrs. Frisby is worried about her youngest son Timothy. Moving day is coming, and with Timothy sick in bed with a pneumonia she can't move him. It seems like there is no hope, until Mrs. Frisby meets a crow named Jeramy. He tells her to see the Owl. The Owl tells her to go to the rats. Mrs. Frisby is puzzled but does as she is told. It turns out that the rats knew her husband, Johnathon Frisby. They decide to help her move the cinder block (her home) to safety. Everything seems to be going great until Mrs. Frisby has an unplesent visit with the farmer's son.
Mice, rats, Nimh, all it takes to make a great story by Robert C. O'Brien. You'll love the funny, likeable characters. You'll love reading this book, and as you learn more about the charaacters, the more you love the story.
