Summary: My Son Can't Get Enough
Comment: This was my three year old son's first Tonka Book and we have read it so many times he has almost memorized it. The people behind the Tonka books seem to realized that a little boy who is interested in trucks doesn't want a cutesy story. This book is very straight forward about how trucks go about building a road. When we drive past road construction sites, my son can name every one of the pieces of machinery.

Comment: My 2-1/2 year old son requests this book several times a day. He loves learning how the road-building machines work and what each of their jobs is. Now when we pass a construction site he points out the various machines and tells me what they do, then asks if we can read the "building road book" again!
