Summary: wan to to understand flight ?- this is the book!
Comment: This book is probably considered a classic - first released in 1972. its still published thirty years later.

Mr. Kermode has taken something as complex as flight and describes it in such a way to make it informative and interesting.

I bought this book while I was doing a private and commercial flying licence and it proved invaluable in explaining many concepts in a way that made sense.

I beleive this book is worth every cent I paid for it - buy it!

Summary: Bravo! I found the book!
Comment: I am currently a senior technician in the Air Force and am sitting for Liscenced Aircraft Engineers examination. Never have I seen a book that explains its content in details yet easily digestable. All I can say is that Mechanics of Flight is a diificult subject but not anymore after reading this book. An extra BONUS...all questions from the examinations are actually covered extensively.
