Summary: Hamlet the way it should be!
Comment: If "Hamlet" was taught like this in school every kid would love it. All the character you remember from high school like Hamlet, Ophelia, Horatio, Polonius, King Claudius, and Queen Quertrude are in this one to...but with new twists and turns. "Hamlet II", written by the author of such hilarious hits as "Murder at the Howard Johnson's", is "better than the original." Here's the story in a "nutshell." Hamlet's father the king, soon to be the ghost, is killed and Hamlet wants to know who did it. He thinks it was the now King Claudius, Hamlet's Uncle. But he needs to prove this. With the help of his buddies Rosencrantz and Guildenstern he puts on a play to make the King confess his guilt. It is a really funny play with a 90's touch...Laertes is played a gay wanna-be hairdresser. And of course the description of Heaven..."They serve hamburgers and it has golden arches." I recently played Horatio in a production of this and heard some of the longest laughs I have ever heard on stage. One of Sam Bobricks best.
