Summary: Fantastic Finale....
Comment: After reading the first book in the Shadows trilogy, Stealing Shadows, I was disappointed. I found the ending unfair to we readers who like to think we're smart enough to know whodunit before we get to the end of the story, and can sit back to see how the author pulls it all together. Or, once the villain is revealed, we can go "oh yah." I felt Ms. Hooper missed the mark in this first book, which left me asking huh? However, her next two books Hiding in Shadows and Out of the Shadows were vintage Hooper. She created riveting, suspenseful stories built on her signature treatment of the paranormal. Following the Noah Bishop character through all three books, and finally finding out how he got involved in the paranormal in the last book of the series was very satisfying. Hiding in Shadows and Out of the Shadows is romantic suspense at it's best. No one treats the paranormal with the same kind of thorough realism as Kay Hooper. She a master storyteller who'll keep you coming back for more

Summary: An Explosive Book Worth Waiting For
Comment: Sheriff Miranda Knight has been secretly using her psychic ablilty to solve crime in Cox County Tennessee, but when a serial killer starts brutally murdering teenagers in town her psychic powers draw a blank. Worry about her nineteen year old sister adds to her woes. She needs help and she knows where to get it, though she doesn't want to go there, but she must. She calls in former lover FBI profiler Noah Bishop and his team of psychic agents.
This five star thriller should be hard to believe in, but it's not. Hooper just keeps getting better. She paints a believable past for Knight and Bishop, tells us Bishop's story through Knight's eyes and keeps her readers hanging on every word. A little graphic, no, a lot graphic, but I believe it's necessary for the story.

Summary: Noah Bishop's Story at Last
Comment: Cox County Tennessee, rural, laid back, quiet, well at least it should be, but it's not. A serial killer is stalking the town, killing teenagers. Sheriff Miranda Knight has been using her psychic ability to ferret out crime, but she can't anywhere with this killer, so she calls on Noah Bishop and his team of psychic FBI agents. Sounds hoakie, I know, but somehow Hooper pulls it off.
At last we get Bishop's story and it was worth waiting for. I was touched by the romance, gagged at the graphic description of the murder victims, captivated by the characters. This book had it all, some might say a bit too much, but I loved every minute of it and gave it five stars...
