Comment: This is an excellent book in my opinion. I totally enjoyed it. This is only the second book I have read by Iris Johansen, and I was just as impressed with this book as I was with the first one, (And Then You Die). This book was full of great suspense, and kept a good pace. (I also didn't want it to end.) I would definately recommend it to anyone who likes a good suspense with a touch of romance thrown in.

Summary: This book was excellent. It was very captivating.
Comment: You know a book is a great book when you identify with the characters so much that you do not want the book to end, because you feel as if the characters are part of your life. That is this book. Kudos to Johansen for bringing Kate, Noah, Seth, Phyliss and Joshua to life. It is unfortunate what happened to Noah, however Kate couldn't have them both and Seth was the obvious choice!...This was the first Iris Johansen book I have read, but you can bet I will be reading another. I hope the quality of her other books hold my unwavering attention as much as Long After Midnight did.

Summary: It was okay....
Comment: I have enjoyed Iris Johansen in the past, but I had a really hard time getting into this book. I couldn't get into the characters. Especially Kate...she just didn't make me sensitive to her plight. I did like Noah and Seth, but still I don't think there was enough characther development. I never felt the chemistry between Kate and Seth, or even Noah.
The actual plot was okay, but nothing that really held my interest.
I do still like Iris Johansen and will continue to read her, but I was a little disappointed with this one.
