Summary: The Diary of Anne Frank
Comment: I recently read The Diary of Anne Frank: The Definitive Edition by Anne Frank. I told my parents that I was reading it and they told me it was a good book, but I never thought I would like it as much as I did. I liked this book so much because you got to know Anne, her family and the guests that were staying with them in the place they called the Secret Annex. Anne let you know exactly what was happening which made me feel like I had actually been there right by her side. What also made the writing of the book excellent in my opinion was that Anne was a very outgoing girl. She made the passages in her diary sound more exciting to make the reader want to read more. You also got to know Anne more mentally than any other person in the book. She shares her inner most thoughts and feelings with her diary, Kitty. I also thought it was very interesting to find out that all the members in the annex hid from the Nazis for a little over 2 months. This book has definitely changed my outlook on the Holocaust and life. I recommend it to anyone!

Summary: Inspiration
Comment: I cannot get my hands off Anne Frank`s diary. It only took me two weeks and a half to finish reading this book when i was 14. This book showed the sorrow of a 14 year old girl as she and her family hides from the jews. Her thoughts and insights about her suroundings captured my mind because of how she expressed her reactions and feelings on each and everyday fears she lived during the Holocaust. You can personally feel her agony as you go through her book. What really stunned me is her possitive attitude towards her struggle. I read the book during my spare time and it would always keep me thinking after I read through her terrible circumstances. I was amazed on how a young girl at her early age can be so inspirational until today by her maturity in life. This book is devastating and depressing as she developes self awareness as she grows up. Her extraordinary condition will bring you tears and closer to her. I recommend this book to anyone who needs possitive thinking in life, just how Anne Frank expressed her possitive attitude towards her hardships in life.

Summary: A Brave Young Girl
Comment: An insightful look back in history. "Anne Frank, The Diary of a Young Girl" is an almost fitting memorial to the young Jewish teenager who died at Bergen-Belson. Born in 1929 just before Anne Franks birthday she received a blank diary to write in. These entries are jaw dropping. This book is for everyone. It is a chance for people to read what the Holocaust was actually like, and the pain and injustice that occurred, and still occurs in the world today. It gives people a look on what type of horror is still going on in different parts of the world right now, and is more of an eye opener then anything. This book delivers a message, one we can all relate to. That ordinary people just like us are suffering. And for what reason? These people are not criminals. They are good people, smart people, and friendy people.
